Wooden Dragon Sunset

Here we have a young man seated on the “Wooden Dragon Tree”, named after the dragon-like appearance of its thick branches. The birds in this piece are a rare species known as the Crimson Luminous that travel in groups and build their nest high in the sky to avoid predators. They emit a light from the base of their skulls that is color coordinated with members of their group. The young man here is wearing wrist braces that are emitting the same light as the birds, allowing them to be comfortable and accepting of him.
