Swan Dance

Noise, constant motion, frantic thoughts, random stimulations. This is the state that a lot of us exist in, in our daily lives. Then there’s peace, calmness, serenity, and stillness. Our reality bounces between these two states and I acknowledge that both are necessary for a balanced life. But, I argue that peace, calmness, and serenity are more important because it gives us time to detach, unwind, reflect, and re-center ourselves. With this piece, I wanted to depict one way in which we can access peace and calmness in the midst of all the noise. That way, is through meditation. Irrespective of the chaos that the swans are causing around him, the man is still able to access and maintain his peace, by meditating.
