Flowering

Humans tend to empathize with things that we perceive to be similar to ourselves. For this reason, I believe that if we were to humanize the earth, we would treat and respect it much better than we currently do. In an attempt to do this, I wanted to draw a parallel between flowers and the human hand. We use our hands to touch and interact with the world around us, and I feel as though the earth uses plants in the same way. So essentially, plants can be viewed as, the “hands” of the earth.
