Balance

This piece is titled BALANCE and aims to depict the three forms of balance that everyone should incorporate in their lives. These forms include physical, spiritual, and mental balance. Physical balance is represented by depicting the subject balancing comfortably on one leg. Spiritual balance is represented by the colorful wisps flowing around the environment and through the subject — similar to how our spirit interacts with our internal body as well as with the environment around us. Mental balance is symbolized by the white light located at the center of the subjects head. The shade of white is the balance of all the hues in the visible light spectrum, which can serve as a visual metaphor of how it is important for us to balance ALL aspects of mental health in our lives.
